Dr Gwilym Morus-Baird

Brodor o Wrecsam. Eisoes wedi rhyddhau cerddoriaeth fel Gwilym Morus, Mwnci Nel, ac fel lleisydd y grŵp, Drymbago. Un o sylfaenwyr Eos, yr Asiantaeth Hawliau Darlledu yng Nghymru. Ers 2016 rwyf wedi bod yn teithio’r sioe boblogaidd, ‘Gadael Tir‘ gyda’r hyfryd Owen Shiers, ‘Hands of Time‘ gyda’r storïwraig benigamp Angharad Wynne, ac yn fwy diweddar y darn unigol ‘The Aberystwyth Wall’ sy’n cael ei ddatblygu i mewn i ‘4 Tales to Save the World’ ar y cyd gyda chwmni cynhyrchu Adverse Camber. Rwyf hefyd yn ymddiddori yn hen chwedloniaeth Cymru (cefais fy nghyhuddo o fod yn ‘gyfrinydd adweithiol’ unwaith!), ac rwy’n diwtor achlysurol o gyrsiau ar-lein ar Lenyddiaeth Geltaidd. Rwy’n byw yng Gwynedd gyda ‘ngwraig a’m plant.

Originally from Wrecsam. Formerly released music as Gwilym Morus, Mwnci Nel and lead singer for Drymbago. One of the founders of Eos, the Broadcasting Rights Agency for Wales. Since 2016 I’ve been touring the show ‘Gadael Tir/Leave Land‘ with the lovely Owen Shiers, ‘Hands of Time‘ with the excellent storyteller Angharad Wynne and more recently the solo piece ‘The Aberystwyth Wall’ which is being developed into ‘4 Tales to Save the World’ with Adverse Camber production company. I also have a longstanding interest in Welsh mythology (I’ve even been accused of being a ‘reactionary mystic’!), and work occasionally as an online tutor of Celtic literature (Welsh and Irish). I live in Gwynedd with my wife and children.
