Over the last year I’ve been working with the Adverse Camber production company to create a series of online storytelling performances called 4 Tales to Save the World.
We’ve created four finely crafted online events taking place every month from September, 2020, using music and live technology to create a new medium for storytelling.
Each of the four tales have been written by some of Wales’ best short story writers, and are set in four different futures, where climate crisis, inequality, mass extinction, genetics and artificial intelligence have all left their mark on humanity.
Each story takes us on a different journey to the future, either finding hope, despair, or the simple humanity of people.
The first story is The Void by Bethan Dear, and will be told on September 19th. After the story there will also be a short film and a Q&A with the author followed by an open discussion with you, the audience.
If you would like to come, you can find tickets and more information on the Facebook event page:
